Ah, silly me. I tend to forget about this site. No, that's not the truth. I just haven't been on much to even be able to log on and write anything. So once again, please forgive me. Especially because I still have no idea how to work this thing. :]
Yesterday was my 20th birthday. Insane. I cannot believe that I am all ready in the "20s" if you want to say that. There's no turning back now. I am officially an adult now. I'm still not anywhere in life either. I'm a free spirit though. I will make it somehow and be known. It's just not my time to shine yet.
Which reminds me of something I've written the other night that I'd like to share with you all. Don't be afraid to leave your opinions on what you think.
The golden fire ball discreetly stares down at us from above.
It's rays of light dance around our shadows.
The two of us together under our own spotlight.
We are infamously shining bright in this moment.
Not ever wanting to become dim once again.
And as the hour of dullness approaches,
we become the lone strangers of the town.
So yeah, there you have it. :]
Anyways, back to my birthday. It wasn't anything spectacular. I didn't have a huge party. But I did go out to dinner with my cousin and mom. I <3 Friday's. So delish. My cousin got the waiter to do the whole clapping/singing thing to embarrass the hell out of me. I couldn't stop laughing. It was fun.
Afterwards, my cousin and I went back to his house and chilled for a bit. Then a few friends came out and we caught up on what's been going on because we all have been so busy that we haven't been able to see one another. Nicolle came in the house singing on the top of her lungs "Happy Birthday" to me. Haha. It was adorable. She's adorable. So we all did whatever and just had a great time.
Wasn't much too it, but sometimes the little things that mean the most. Especially when Sammie was leaving and she totally attacked me with a huge hug and almost knocked me down. I <3 my friends.
Everyone else that couldn't be with me to celebrate my birthday made sure to let me know that they wish they could. I had texts, messages, comments all day. It really brightened up the past few days I had. Oh and a certain someone had to wait til 11:59 to wish me a happy birthday. Hahaha. I kind of thought he had forgotten. Which made upset, but he's too adorable at the same time. <3
Well, I had forgotten what else I was going to write about so if I think of anything, I'll get to it later. I hope everyone has an amazing weekend. Take care!!
